How to Buy Scripts

Buying a royalty-free script from Playstage couldn't be easier. Basically, you pay on-line and are then sent an email which contains a unique link, specific to you, which when clicked will take you directly to the download page.

Firstly, we recommend that you view the sample pages by clicking on the Sample link next to each title. Each PDF sample contains a cast list and a few pages of the play or pantomime. From these you should be able to judge whether it will be suitable for your needs.

When you are happy that you've found the script you want, simply click the Buy Now link. You will be taken to a page where you must enter your identity details and agree to abide by our conditions of sale. Please ensure that you complete every required field and that your email address is correct. We recommend that teachers use their personal email address as some schools have very aggressive spam filters which occasionally reject the email containing the download link. Needless to say, the email is entirely safe.

You will then be taken to the PayPal payments page where you must enter valid credit or UK debit card details (not cash cards!), making sure that you do not include any spaces in your card number. Please ensure that you complete every required field.

Next, allow 5 minutes then check your email account. You should have 3 emails, one from PayPal confirming your transaction, a receipt from us and another one from us that contains your unique link to the download page.

On clicking the link you will be asked whether you want to open or save the PDF. We recommend you save it to somewhere you will remember! Please note, you have 72 hours to download the script before it expires.

Each script is a different file size some small some larger. Allow up to 15 minutes for your download if you don't have broadband.

PDF (Portable Document File) files open with Acrobat Reader which you can download free from www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html

Paying by cheque
If you would prefer not to pay on-line, you can pay by cheque by printing, completing and posting an order form (PDF).
