If you add a touch of Alice in Wonderland, plus a dash of Frozen, a little bit of The Snow Queen plus Santa, reindeer and elves – this is what you end up with! A charming Christmas play that ticks all the boxes as far as children are concerned. After all, they get to dress up as snowflakes, penguins, elves and reindeer. What more could you want?
Description
Alice is asleep on Christmas Eve when a woman’s voice wakes her up and tells her to go to the window. From there she steps into the magic of Winterland, with its talking, singing and dancing snowmen and penguins. Little does she know that the evil Snow Queen has lured her there to turn her into a snowflake like lots of other little girls. Alice is desperate to get home before Christmas Day and her new friends Frosty and Freezy the snowmen and Vanilla Ice the Penguin help her on her trek. But Jack Frost and the Snow Queen have other ideas – until Santa puts a stop to their wickedness.
The play has 31 speaking parts but can be reduced if necessary, or more non-speaking but singing and dancing parts can be added.
