All for One and One for All by Stewart Auty

£25.00 incl. zero VAT

The approximate running time of this play is 1 hour.

This is the comedy version of The Three Musketeers penned by (who else?) Stewart Auty. The story is reasonably faithful to the original. D’Artagnan wants to leave home and join the Musketeers but, on the way, he gets robbed of his sword and letter of introduction in a tavern. Nevertheless he manages to pal up with three Musketeers – Athos, Porthos and Aramis and he finds that Paris is a lot more dangerous than he thought!

Description

There are songs and chases, a Queen who has given a necklace away to an English Duke, and a couple of villains who want to get both the Queen and her Englishman locked up for good. The King is a bit stupid and vain but the Musketeers are brave and resourceful and, of course, they save the day. D’Artagnan even gets his sword back! One of the highlights is the performance of “The Time Warp” at the Palace Ball. Running time is approximately 50 minutes.

Some of the songs suggested in the script are:

  • I love Paris
  • The One and Only
