The approximate running time of this play is 1 hour.
What starts as one girl (Goldie) deciding to let herself into the Three Bears house, turns into a veritable home invasion when more fairy tale characters turn up at the front door, demanding entry and causing our heroine no end of problems!
Description
The Bears have gone out for a fast-food breakfast, as they are thoroughly fed-up with porridge. Miss Goldie Locks, tired of her parents telling her what to do, takes temporary refuge in the Bear’s house. Ah! Peace and quiet!…Unfortunately, no. Cinderella arrives, hot-foot from the Ball, confused about whether or not she cares about her Prince; a Prince does arrive, but he’s the one from Sleeping Beauty and is confused as to why Goldie is not asleep. Then there are some Pigs trying to evade a Wolf (who tries to gain entry by posing as a door-to-door salesman), Red Riding Hood thinks the cottage belongs to her Granny…You get the picture. Funny and frantic. You could add songs if you wanted.
13 speaking parts.
As with all our plays, there are full production notes that give advice on scenery, props and costumes.
