The approximate running time of this play is 30 minutes.
Ever wondered how we inherited a legend about the Easter Bunny? Ever wondered why we eat chocolate eggs at Easter? This non-religious play, suitable for all denominations and beliefs, is a whimsical tale about Mrs Bunny and her children making chocolate goodies for Grandma Bunny.
Description
Ideal for the 6-9 age range. Lots of singing of easy songs and dancing to easy tunes. And lots and lots of chocolate! A very simple tale about Mrs Rabbit’s children making chocolate goodies for Grandma. The smallest child makes a “chocolate carrot” but it looks more like an egg! What’s more, the chocolate object gets lost on the way to Grandma’s and some children find it and rather like the chocolate egg-shaped object. An undemanding and fun little play. This play is very flexible and allows for as few as 19 children to take part or as many as 47. SEE SAMPLE SCRIPT.
5 SONGS AND ONE PIECE OF DANCE MUSIC ARE USED IN THIS PLAY.
As with all our plays, there are full production notes that give advice on scenery, props and costumes.
