Description
This play is a jolly whodunnit with songs. It turns out that Grandma and Grandpa – before they were married – were known as Sherlock Holmes and Jane Marple (no, we couldn’t believe it, either!). So, Grandpa Holmes and Grandma Marple join forces with the Police Sergeant to investigate the crime. They interview Father Christmas, Mrs Christmas, the Elves, Rudolph, some Snowmen and yet, in the end, the culprit comes as a complete surprise!
Songs suggested in the script are:
- Rockin Around the Christmas Tree
- I wish it could be Christmas everyday
- Frosty the Snowman
- We wish you a Merry Christmas
- Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer
- Jingle Bells
- We wish you a Merry Christmas
As with all our plays, there are full production notes that give advice on scenery, prop and costume making.
