The Princess and the Sprout by Lindsey Varley

£23.00 incl. zero VAT

The approximate running time of this play is 40 minutes.

The King and Queen (Queenie to her friends) are looking for a husband for their son, the Prince. He’s not terribly interested but he’s going along with it, just for the sake of peace and quiet. Queenie’s plans, however, do not work out terribly well!

Description

Queenie has invited three Princesses to tea (cue some very messy cake-making) – Princess A La Stroppe (terrible attitude), Princess Pink N Fluffy (really irritating) and Princess Got To Get On (impatient businesswoman). None of them are suitable, but, fortunately, another Princess seeks shelter after being caught in the rain. The Prince rather likes her, but will she pass the ultimate test?

Songs suggested in the script are:

  • You’ve got a Friend in Me
  • Right Said Fred
  • You Raise Me Up
